The first thing you will notice is that I am vastly different from your typical consultant company. My work style can be simplified down to 4 words. "Let's solve problems together." To meet this objective, I have found I had to change my breadth of knowledge over the years. I have transitioned from a software implementor to a balanced consultant. I completely understand the technology in addition to the underlying service management process and people issues. A continual self education surrounding people, process, and technology is part of who I am. This breadth of knowledge allows me to avoid costly mistakes and quickly build value together with you.
I am a big fan of workshops. The reason being is that it is a great opportunity for you to learn. There have been many projects that I have worked on in the past where I have been asked to go off and come up with solutions all-alone. I worked in a vacuum and came up with a fantastic solution that I was sure would solve all the problems. However, because I came up with this alone, it was always a difficult sell and an uphill battle to implement. I have learned through my experiences that this is not a good way of doing things. Alternatively, 100% of the situations where the solution was built jointly as part of a workshop have been successful.
The workshop environment forces everyone involved to think together. Consider it a boot-camp to jump start the work in your environment.
Here are some sample workshops I can deliver:
I love technology. I love software. I find it fascinating to use. However, I will be the first one to tell you that technology alone cannot solve problems. In fact, technology can sometimes be a big part of the problem. Before you can implement any type of software to solve a problem, you must have done the preliminary work that is essential for success.
That being said, there will come a point in the process where implementing software will be necessary to achieve the desired results. Software can be a fantastic way of ensuring that people follow the process that has been so carefully defined and streamlined. When that time comes, I can be of great assistance.
I have worked with most every IT Service Management solution in the marketplace. I understand what is required and the feature set that is needed. I have been intimately involved with several of the key software vendors and know extremely well how to implement and tailor them to fit your needs.
Never ask your barber if you need a haircut.
The Software vendors will always tell you that you need their software. I find it very interesting that people will consult with their software vendor on whether or not they need more software. What do you think their answer will be?
I can provide an unbiased viewpoint on software. I have no allegiance to any software vendor. I have worked with many of the leaders. I have implemented and personally customized many of these software solutions.
However, I do have preferences, but it is solely based on experience and not due to any established software partnership. I will only advise particular software solutions if they are a best match for your environment.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
I want to teach you how to fish.
I do this through targeted coaching sessions and training opportunities. Coaching sessions are designed for individuals, while the training is meant for groups.
Training is a great way to teach a group of people. Sometimes this is a necessary way to kick of a new initiative. All training is customized to you and your specific needs. Here are some of the training classes I have led in the past:

Chris developed the first portion of a software implementation at Ameriquest Mortgage. The documentation Chris left behind was easy to follow and allowed me to enhance the implementation as new desires came from the project's stakeholders. Still after months of his departure I have went back to his document to prepare for the upgrades at Ameriquest.
Jon Unger, Ameriquest Mortgage
Chris is by far the best consultant that I have had the pleasure to work with in the IT Service Management arena. Chris is an expert with ServiceNow and IT Service Management principles. He provided many creative solutions to solve our business challenges. He customized an HR, Consumer Affairs and Flight application for us. I did not have much experience with ServiceNow but I have learned a lot from Chris and he has been amazingly patient. Chris' code of ethics are very admirable. I am more knowledgeable and a better person for working with Chris.
